I like 1 a lot (the photo is pretty), but I think it's way too bright a colour for a book cover. I have to give it to 5 for looking really quite professional.
Definitely #4 to me.
Like it better than the original version!

OH this is so hard! I don't want to decide....they are all so breathtaking (and I think that all of them would be better choices than the actual book covers themselves!) I'm going to say 3, because the dramatic punch of color was what initially caught my eye.
